So after a 2017/18 of ups and downs for Torquay, some good scalps, and doing the double on Paignton, it came down to the final game home to Crediton. Both teams knew whoever won it was staying up in Western Counties West, while the loser got relegation, so it was an intense battle.
Unfortunately Crediton got the 19-22 win staying up, and now it’s a case of bounce back chasing promotion for this season.
It’s an interesting league, with Penryn the ones to keep an eye on. They only just missed out on 2nd place promotion this year, just 1 point to do it, so they will be pretty confident for sure.
